What's In A Name?
JournalSo I was reading a news article my step-dad emailed me over here in Iraq. The article focused around President-Elect Obama making an address in "an Islamic Capital" in an effort to mend the international image of the U.S.

BUT! The article jumps to the topic of President-Elect Obama's inauguration ceremony:

Obama also said he would be sworn on January 20 using his full name, Barack Hussein Obama.

During the presidential campaign, some of Obama's political opponents would refer to his middle name in an attempt to portray him as a secret Muslim.

But the Christian president-elect said he would follow tradition for the inauguration ceremony.

"I think the tradition is that they use all three names, and I will follow the tradition," Obama told the paper. "I'm not trying to make a statement one way or another. I'll do what everybody else does."

I didn't vote for the guy, I don't see eye-to-eye with him on foreign policy, and I SURE don't like his views on gun control, but I did read Shakespear's Romeo and Juliet. If you're not gonna like the guy, don't like him for what he stands for, not his name. Don't like him because he's a proven liar. Don't like him because he wants to disarm the citizens.

One thing I did notice... when called out on his controversial and contradicting views, he likes to blame "misquotes" and "other people"....
